Corns

Picture

A corn is a thickened area of skin on the toes caused by excessive pressure. There are soft corns, which form in between the toes, and hard corns which form on the top or at the ends of the toes. Corns vary in size, and can become very painful. We offer several different types of specialized corn cushions and protectors that are made of medical-grade silicone to help cushion and protect the areas that form the corn. These can help to significantly relieve the pain. If conservative treatment does not help, then Dr. Friedman will discuss surgical options. Most corns are caused by an underlying deformity of the bone and correction of this deformity will usually eliminate the corn.  Our doctors  have years of experience treating patients with painful corns. Please call our office today at 440-934-8444 to make an appointment or fill-out our Contact Form.
